First post! Initial weight, pics, etc.

Hello internet world. I kind of hope you're not reading this, since this is just my attempt to make myself accountable for my body. Here I will track my exercise/weight loss (although I hate scales.. let's go by clothing sizes and me feeling less squishy, shall we?) and hopefully drop some pounds. I am currently at the heaviest I have ever been, and my self esteem is in the pits. I want to lose weight to become healthier and also to fit into a certain favorite dress that I've had for awhile but grew out of.. :( ignore the messy bathroom. haha.


I am currently 165 cm, and approximately 150 lbs.. but that's me guesstimating. Like I said, I abhor weighing myself. I currently wear size 8-10 jeans, and my target weight is 120. I'm not sure what that translates to in clothing sizes, but I'd like to aim for a size 4. I don't have much endurance, and I don't like running. If anyone has suggestions for me, I'd love to hear them! I think I want to focus on cardio first to drop fat, and then do strength training to build muscle. Not knowing much about exercise doesn't exactly help me, does it? :) Please, if you see this blog, no bashing. Like I said before, this is meant to be a personal blog for myself - but I need others' suggestions and support as well. Thanks!

ps. I feel like this picture is inappropo... lol! I will put on more clothes on my next update and hopefully I'll update enough that this post will seem like a bad dream :)
